Many design books come across my desk, and I must say I'm particularly excited to share a sneak peek of Brooklyn Interiors by Kathleen Hackett, which will be available on April 5th.  These days Brooklyn is more than a place--it's become a symbol for a whole style of living.  The New York Times even went as far as saying that "Brooklyn isn't just a borough.  It's a design aesthetic, like mid-century modern or Beaux-Arts."  Brooklyn Interiors celebrates the broad-minded eclecticism and renegade design spirit that has come to define the borough, and offers plenty of inspiration regardless of where you may live.  I, for one, want to design a dining space like the one above!  Forget china cabinets and opt for an intimate library feel with art, family photos and collected treasures.  Enjoy the sneak peek, and be sure to check out the book here
